Petersfield

One of the oldest Scout Group’s in the world, 1st Petersfield has grown from three individual patrols of Scouts meeting locally in 1908 to an active Group offering exciting, challenging Scouting for boys and girls aged from 6 to 14 years and young people from 14 to 18 years.

All Sections enjoy a varied programme including outdoor activities and camps in addition to opportunities to venture further afield, ranging from hikes over the Downs to expeditions abroad. Meeting in our own headquarters near the town centre, we like to play an active role within the community, such as creating and maintaining Charlie Dickin’s Garden on one of the main routes into the town.

We welcome new recruits of all ages who would like to join us. For further information on the groups activities please see the Petersfield Scout Group website
