Scouts County Events 2017

As well as Group and (hopefully) District Events there’s a series of County Events for 2017.  Here’s a selection of known dates for 2017.  To attend County events you do not need to go as a Troop, indeed many events are better attended as an individual, and at some events you may well be split from people you know.  This is normally really good as you come back having met lots of new friends that you wouldn’t have done so if you stayed with your Troop or someone you already know.  Don’t forget some activities will be better as part of a County event.  For example they may well have more resources to throw at a Expedition Challenge weekend.  Instead of going out onto the South Downs, there may be the chance to go to say,  the Lake district 😉
