Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, leaders and friends came together to celebrate St George’s Day on 23rd April in Petersfield.

As well as being the Patron Saint of England, St George is also the Patron Saint of Scouting and events are held across the country to mark the occasion.

The young people and leaders followed their section flags through the town centre then a short service was held in St Peter’s Church led by the District Chaplain, Will Hughes. All the sections renewed their Promise and everyone was encouraged to follow St George’s example and to always try and do their best.
