A very interesting evening with the Tuesday 1st Petersfield Scouts. Normally before a hike Scouts would take a while to plan their route, sometimes in a lot of detail. Not this time. The instructions were very simple. At every junction toss a coin. Heads is left, tails is right. So off we went, plotting the route we took on a street map. There were several dead ends, and a few streets nobody had ever been down! Some groups didn’t stray far, others went from one boundary to another. All in all it was a good evening out, doing something outside that we hadn’t done before.

Which way next?
